Disappear

The sky was blue and the clouds passed us by
Time passed quick June swiftly became July
The wind blew sweetly through the trees of green
Creating a picture perfect hot summer scene

Laying in the sun, living freely without a care
Running my fingertips through the tangles of your hair
Our bodies lying side by side twisted like a knot   
Everything I want and need is everything I got  

But what happens when the leaves start to change
Everything becomes different, everything becomes strange
The sun disappears and everything turns cold
Suddenly your hand’s not there for me to hold

All becomes numb, the earth a hard frozen core
